Virtuoso® El Libro IILuz orchestrated a team of experts to produce the coffee table book Virtuoso® El Libro. The 2024 edition inspires luxury and experiential travelers in the Latin American and Caribbean region through carefully curated chronicles, extraordinary photography, and expert advice. Published in Spanish and Portuguese, it reached the 11,000 most influential travelers in the region.




Café Aficionado

Café Aficionado is an award-winning, high-quality magazine that showcases a deep understanding of the coffee industry and its lifestyle. Bilingual and collectible, it presents a unique way to explore and appreciate the world of coffee through a careful selection of stories, places, objects, and people. 

Luz Arredondo created this project for a client passionate about coffee. With the help of an exceptional team of experts, they developed the concept, name, branding, and every aspect of the publication, including the distribution and communication strategy.

The first series of Café Aficionado featured five beautifully produced magazines showcasing the most relevant stories about Mexican coffee. It earned two prestigious awards for Best Cuisine Magazine from the Editorial Chamber.




Virtuoso® El Libro I

 
After more than a year of careful planning, Virtuoso® El Libro was born, an incredible book of travel inspiration specifically designed for the Virtuoso® travelers in Latin America. Working alongside a team of experts, Luz Arredondo oversaw the project from conceptualization and content creation to printing and distribution in Spanish and Portuguese.

This stunning coffee table book was unveiled in August 2023 during Virtuoso® Travel Week in Las Vegas. Since then, it has been made available to affluent clients of Virtuoso® travel agencies across Latin America. 

Virtuoso® El Libro showcases some of the most breathtaking destinations in the world with incredible photography and captivating travel chronicles from Vietnam to Antarctica, the Balearic Islands to Botswana and Rio de Janeiro to Baja California Sur. To make the book more accessible, a digital version and a video teaser for social media were created.





Travesías Media
For over 15 years, Luz Arredondo was a partner and director of Travesías Media, an award-winning boutique media company based in Mexico known for creating magazines, books, digital content, and experiences with a unique and talented team. Over those years she gleaned a loyal web of contributors: writers, photographers, editors, designers, and translators.

Travesías Media owned and managed several platforms, including Travesías, Gatopardo, Local, and Atelier. Travesías Media and Gatopardo were sold in 2021. With monthly magazines, websites, events, experiences, and over a hundred books and guides, Travesías Media was an essential part of her background and experience in travel and publishing.
